We adopt a trauma-informed approach to engage those who have been harmed or those at risk of being harmed and support them to move on with their lives.

We are seeking to employ a Young People’s Outreach Worker for young people affected by sexual exploitation.

The purpose of this specialist role is to engage with and provide appropriate emotional and practical support to young people experiencing, or at risk of, sexual exploitation.  The post-holder will work intensively with vulnerable young people in a trauma-informed way to safe-guard them and reduce risk of further exploitation.  The post-holder will work within a multi-agency approach ensuring that at the heart of their safeguarding practice is a recognition of the young person’s voice.

Must have a sound understanding of the safe-guarding legal framework for young people and be confident in lone-working situations.

Salary: £20,860 FTE.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week.  Including some early morning, evening, and weekend working.

Our expertise makes us well-placed to recognise the routes into sexual exploitation and provide effective prevention, early intervention and exit services for those affected.

We are seeking to employ a Therapeutic CSE Practitioner to embed a trauma-informed approach for young people affected by sexual exploitation.

The post-holder will manage a caseload and deliver prevention, early intervention and targeted support to young people who have been exploited or those who are at risk of  child sexual exploitation.  This role will see young people receiving timely support to help them overcome trauma and to move on with their lives.

The post-holder will be required to develop and embed this approach and be the lead within the organisation to help train staff to ensure understanding around trauma and the psychological impact of sexual exploitation.

Salary : £22,500 to £26,538 fte.

Hours of Work : 22.5 hours per week, including occasional evening and weekend work to meet client need.
