Thank you for gift boxes.
18 January 2021
These lovely gift boxes are from Sadhia, who is currently working on a project to empower vulnerable young girls in Norwich; particularly working together with New Routes Integration Charity who support families of refugees, asylum seekers and isolated migrants living in Norwich, & hoping to distribute approximately 50 gift boxes (for FREE) to include basic sanitary and hygiene products as well as educational material for the young girls. Please see summarised a short story on the JustGiving Page of the project in general: Project PowHER Period, inspired by Scotland's new policy of making sanitary products free to access.

International day to end violence against sex workers.
16 December 2020
This day was created to call attention to hate crimes committed against sex workers all over the globe. Inaugurated by Dr Annie Sprinkle and started by the Sex Workers Outreach Project USA, the first annual day was in 2003 and was held as a memorial and vigil for the victims of the Green River Killer in Seattle Washington. International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers has empowered workers from over cities around the world to come together and organise against discrimination and remember victims of violence.
Being social online this December: a parent’s guide
15 December 2020
Thinkuknow from the CEOP education team : "This year, many of us will be relying on tech over the festive period for entertainment and, most importantly, to keep in touch with friends and family. Here are a few of our resources that you can share with parents, carers and children and young people to help them have a safer online experience over the winter break. Access to new tech over the winter period can provide new opportunities for children and young people but also present risks. Our guide for parents looks at how they can support their child to be safer online this season by focusing on 3 key areas: viewing, sharing, chatting and friending."
