Norwich Consolidated Charities dinner

Norwich Consolidated Charities dinner

"There were Norwich Consolidated Charities staff, trustees and representatives from four charities - The Magdalene Group, Your Own Place, NR2 Community Skills and St Martins Housing Trust - present at the dinner. We discussed our understanding of what poverty is and what experiences we have of poverty and homelessness, both in our professional and personal lives.  The aim was to help NCC make some decisions about its priorities and its strategic direction. A very good night, with a delicious meal and a glass of wine.  I thought the conversation would go on for ever!....." Mette Ohrvik, Business Development Manager

Youth groups working

"Had a really good session out with TYSS (The Targeted Youth Support Service) in Great Yarmouth on Tuesday. Went out with Annie and Ross and met lots of young people, including some former Rose clients. Lots of great conversations with young people about relationships and also spoke to Ross about linking in with the Norwich and Broadland teams for more partnership opportunities."
