The Bishop’s visit

We were delighted to welcome the Right Reverend Dr Jane Steen, Bishop of Lynn, to The Magdalene Group last week. She met with Sara, along with Georgie & Caroline, two of our trustees, & was interested to hear about our frontline work with vulnerable women & young people, both in Norwich & the wider county. "I wanted to write to say thank you so much for welcoming me to The Magdalene Group. It was inspiring to hear of all your work, as well as your history and your hopes for the future. Our best practice session this morning, hosted by Beth & Mette, was on the subject of domestic abuse. Covering 'controlling & coercive behaviour' through to 'safety planning,' & involving lots of lively discussion, this was most interesting & most informative. As always, the team have lots of knowledge & lots to contribute!
