Tampon Tax Fund

The purpose of the Tampon Tax Fund is to allocate the funds, generated from the VAT on sanitary products, to projects that improve the lives of disadvantaged women and girls. This funding was the focus of a BBC Look East news feature on Friday evening, & showed our lovely Lesley, senior support worker at The Magdalene Group, talking about the difference the funding has made here at The Magdalene Group. Harmful Sexual Behaviour Training

Sophie Grimmer, Young People's Worker for the Rose Project, has been training for two days, looking at assessment skills and delivering intervention with young people displaying harmful sexual behaviour. This training will help to enhance our understanding of these behaviours and will allow our interventions to be more target-focused.

We were pleased to welcome Alison Rowland from John Lewis to The Magdalene Group today, following the Community Matters scheme in their Norwich store this summer. We were pleased to receive a cheque for £977.00 for our EnRoute supported accommodation project. Thank you so much to everyone who supported this scheme.
