Tricky Period

Homeless women and females on low incomes will benefit from a new service set up to provide free sanitary products at Norwich’s main libraries. The Tricky Period project involves the libraries taking donations of products and handing them out to people who cannot afford them, with no questions asked about proof of eligibility. The Magdalene Group supports this initiative & can provide its service-users with any sanitary products they require.

"Storytelling isn’t just for children… This Night’s Tales is Norwich's fantastic storytelling night for grown-ups! Simply join us at 7pm, pick up a drink from the bar, then settle in to listen to up to four storytellers regale you with their tales. Upcoming events and ticket links: Beginnings, 9 Jan: picatic.com/ThisNightsTales-Jan & Love, 14 Feb: picatic.com/ThisNightsTales-Feb The type of stories you’ll hear is up to the whim our storytellers… they may be true, or mystical, funny, heart breaking, personal, classic or brand new… all we know is that they’ll be delivered beautifully to charm and enchant you! Each storyteller will weave their magic for 10-15 mins, and they’ll be a short interval / gin break / snack stop after the first two. All profits from the evening will be donated to support the wonderful work of The Magdalene Group, a collection of amazing causes that has been working to prevent sexual exploitation for twenty years in Norwich and Norfolk.
