Pulham Market Mothers' Union meets at The Brewhouse on the second Tuesday of every month, with a varied programme of talks & projects & speakers. Suzi Heybourne, our CEO, was invited to speak about the work of The Magdalene Group at their February meeting. This was a lovely afternoon, & we are very grateful for their hospitality & their donations.

Update on EnRoute Services

EnRoute Supported Accommodation ‘An aspirational and therapeutic supported accommodation service for young females.' Providing a safe, secure and nurturing home for 16 – 18 year olds. EnRoute is a supported housing project with an embedded therapeutic approach for females who have been affected by Child Sexual Exploitation.

The Magdalene Group complies fully with the DBS Code of Practice regarding the correct handling, use, storage, retention and disposal of Certificates and Certificate Information. It also complies fully with its obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 and other relevant legislation pertaining to the safe handling, use, storage, retention and disposal of Certificates and Certificate information and has a written policy which is available to those who wish to see it on request.

Helplines training

"I was really pleased to join the team today for 'Essential helpline skills' training, delivered by Rachael Wyartt of the Helplines Partnership. Thought-provoking, & with plenty of opportunity for inter-action, this was such a valuable experience. (Very nice lunch from The Cafe Club too!)" Our sexual health helpline - 0808 800 1037 - is available on a Tuesday evening from 4 until 6 p.m.

LEGs at Brooke

Suzi Heybourne, our CEO, attended the AGM of the Ladies Evening Group of Brooke (LEGs) to present a brief outline of the history & work of The Magdalene Group & its current projects. LEGs have nominated The Magdalene Group as their charity to fund-raise for this year, & their membership will be collecting with a variety of events throughout 2018. How very grateful we are to them.
